Your Job

The EMEA Procurement team currently has a vacancy for a Procurement Manager for Professional Services categories. This presents an excellent opportunity for highly motivated, experienced professionals who enjoy working closely with the marketing and category teams and Kimberly-Clark's supply base to drive strong value delivery and collaborative partnerships.

As our Procurement leader you will be responsible for the timely and cost-effective strategic sourcing of the category in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.

About You

  • Ensure that the company requirements for category are fulfilled with the optimum quality, service, and total cost of ownership, which are consistent with the needs of our internal business partners, the opportunities presented by the market, and meet our short and long-term requirements
  • Manage communications between suppliers and our internal business partners to ensure business needs are met on an ongoing basis
  • Develop and maintain expertise on vendor selection, relationships and negotiation
  • Maintain close, co-operative relationships with key business partners, enabling development of relevant, forward focused category strategies
  • Operate with an E2E Business mindset to ensure supply base delivers maximum return on investment, enhances Kimberly-Clark brand equity, and ultimately improves Kimberly-Clark's level of profitability
  • Ensure that internal control requirements are met in an efficient and effective manner
  • You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and have a positive can-do attitude.

What you'll bring...

  • Experience of Facilities Management, Security or other indirect categorie is highly advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree and significant Indirect Procurement experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with extensive experience in stakeholder management
  • Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills
  • Experienced and capable influencer of peers and senior managers
  • Skilled negotiator / results oriented
  • Experience in the marketing services category area would be advantageous
  • Problem solving experience in reducing total costs and improving processes
  • Excellent commercial contracts knowledge is required (legal background nice to have)
  • English C1 is a must and least one other European Language preferred (C Level)

Travel

There are travel expectations with this role as supply and business partners are located across the region. All travel is planned in advance and therefore should not be a barrier for applicants with family/carer commitments.
