About You

As the Continuous Improvement Leader in our Romagnano Mill in Romagnano Sesia (NO), you will be responsible to lead Lean initiatives and will be responsible for facilitating a change in mindset that will support continuous improvement along the plant's end-to-end value stream.

You will report to the Plant Manager and you will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).

YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Studying the current process by introducing lean management concepts
  • Providing guidelines, orientations, coaching and digital support to the operational teams of the Plant, while ensuring that lines, machines and facilities are managed according to the highest standards in the areas of safety, quality and waste reduction.
  • Proactively "training" the lean mindset and spirit of continuous improvement of all plant resources
  • Analyzing daily routines, providing employees with lean methodology and training
  • Keeping an active approach on waste reduction, value analysis and active staff involvement.
  • Managing the training and implementation of new K-C software.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Degree in Engineering with previous experience in similar roles
  • Proven knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and more generally Problem Solving, Change Management and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Good leadership and teamwork skills, the ability to interact with different profiles both within the plant and at the corporate level
  • Propensity to innovation, a good economic sensitivity and familiarity with the main tools of digital transformation.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Italian
