Kforce has a public accounting client that is seeking a Staff Auditor in Wakefield, MA. This position provides an excellent opportunity for growth and mentorship. This is a great role for entry level candidates or those with 1-2 years of public accounting experience. The Staff Auditor will work a hybrid work schedule with a lot of remote flexibility.Essential Functions:
- Staff Auditor will assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Prepare financial statements
- As a Staff Auditor, you will perform accounting and tax research
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Master's degree or candidate preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate
- 0-3 years of public accounting experience (Entry level candidates must have GPA of 3.0 or higher)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Strong communication skills
- Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
