Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Public Relations Lead to support our brand's overarching public relations strategy and execution designed to drive elevated brand awareness. This role will report to the Senior Director of PR and serve as liaison to our brand's public relations agency partners as well as be expected to develop and maintain valuable relationships with local and national media. As part of our strategic development, the PR team will identify and develop valuable press opportunities that leverage our brand, founder's and leaderships' stories, constantly seek new ways to amplify our brand and collaborate with our Influencer Marketing team to develop influencer and celebrity strategies.
Our ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented PR professional who can assist and support in alignment across cross-functional marketing teams in a creative and fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sr Director of Public Relations to develop PR materials such as press releases and pitches, media briefs for brand leadership and recaps.
- Oversee ordering and delivering of samples for all press and celebrity dressing opportunities
- Serve as point of contact for leadership press opportunities. This includes the collecting and tracking of brand data, business and market trend information, media briefs and cross functional alignment
- Attend brand events such as press previews, collection launches and brand activations
- Manage and review all incoming media inquiries
- Collect and track all PR metrics reportings
Our ideal Candidate will have:
• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of PR experience with proven success in fashion PR and talent relationship management
• Strong pulse on what is happening in the world of retail, fashion and entertainment with existing relationships.
• Ability to recommend and initiate projects with minimal direction
• Passion for the brand and its core values: Family, Fashion, Philanthropy
• Work experience of multi-person/ cross-departmental team
• Superior communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Comfort and experience working closely with executive management team
• Strong media relations skills with proven program results in print, broadcast and online outlets
• Superior relationship management and networking skills
