Position Overview:
The Photo Studio Sr. Manager is a member of the Creative Services team within the Marketing department and reports directly to the Art Director of Creative Services. This position is responsible for delivering high quality imagery and video content for the Kendra Scott brand in partnership with the Art Director of Creative Services as well as overseeing the post-production that ensures delivery and quality of all creative photography and video. The Photo Studio Sr. Manager handles the day-to-day operations of the photography team and any external creative team by assigning tasks, managing workload, delivering final assets, and providing feedback based on expectations of individual projects. This position manages multiple projects and directs members of the creative team including internal and external photographers, videographers, prop stylists, producers, wardrobe stylists, hair and makeup artists.

Responsibilities:
Manage the production and delivery of product photography across all channels.

Offer best in class research by bringing innovative creative thinking with a deep understanding of relevant trends across photography, lighting and styling.

Maintain clear production schedule and deadline for team to deliver against.

Work with AD & Sr Director to manage continuous shot list requirements for the month ahead.

Communicate with Merchandisers on a seasonal basis to understand sample delivery, timelines and product accuracy.

Schedules and aligns photo and video production with social and promotional calendar to leverage planned brand and marketing messages.

Communicate with all merchants for KS brand and wholesale channels on expectations for the season and ensure successful delivery of all assets.

Assist AD when necessary, in any photoshoot concepting, planning, execution and/or post shoot work as it relates to image selects and managing delivery of final assets.

Maintain proper supplies and equipment for Studio needs.

Assist AD as needed in any retouching direction & required notes.

When required manages, selects, schedules and books all talent associated with photo shoots and helps secure any special prop needs for creative laydowns.

Oversees photography and videography budget for all content coming out of the Creative Services department.

Manages the finalization and submission of all advances, billings, usage agreements and post-production work and ensure that these are within the allocated budget.

Maintains budget throughout the season from shot count to creative requests.

Approves the review, signoff, and archiving of all invoices and estimates within each shoots budget.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years' experience as a Photography, Video & Product Manager for a high-growth company
  • A proven ability to break down larger initiatives into consumable achievable tasks to achieve departmental and company objectives
  • Ability to clearly articulate plans and ensure team is aligned
  • A solutions-oriented mentality with a data driven approach
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of photography, production, art direction and styling
  • Works well under pressure
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to take constructive criticism from multiple sources and incorporate all feedback into final product
  • A growth mindset: track record of leveraging past learnings, encouraging new ideas and smart risk taking in self and others
