Job Summary
Kairos Power is seeking a highly motivated CNC Programmer with expertise in CNC Machining Operations, CAM programming operations, and creation of setup sheets. In this role, you will work with machinists, leads, and machining operations management to increase production by optimizing programs. Additionally, you will actively follow, review, and update programming procedures and works with the team to provide clear instructions when making process improvements.

Responsibilities
- Verify NC files as well as maintain revision control on programs and setup sheets
- Work to the dimensions and tolerances provided on drawings, interpreting features and notes.
- Help others around them to exceed the expectations of their job
- Interpret and explain GD&T definitions. Makes or offer suggestions on drawing changes to improve manufacturability.
- Support assisting others with understanding or researching GD&T definitions
- Machine fixture tooling as directed by process sheets
- Meets expectations for productivity. Programmer is constantly keeping products moving and alerting management when production is inhibited. Provides consistent ideas for process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Read and understand all drawing criteria, GD&T, notes and tolerances
- Working knowledge of software and options such as Tricodial milling features etc.
- Familiarity Fanuc, Siemens, Okuma and HAAS preferred
- Knowledgeable of carbide tools and adjusting speed and feed parameters for maximum tool life
- Ability to assist in finding areas to improve efficiencies and communicate process improvements
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence.

- Repetitive assembly operations of manufacturing test fixtures and test setups in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams
