Who You Are

Justworks is seeking a Senior Manager of Performance Marketing to lead our digital acquisition engine across Paid Search, SEO/AEO, Affiliates, and emerging high-intent channels. In this role, you will set the strategic direction, scale channel execution, and deliver measurable impact on pipeline creation, CAC efficiency, and overall marketing ROI.

You will manage a team of channel experts and collaborate closely with Analytics, Sales, Finance, Marketing Operations, and Product Marketing to drive growth and ensure performance marketing initiatives align with core business and financial priorities. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic vision and executional depth, thrives in an experimentation-driven environment, and is energized by delivering meaningful business results.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong analytical rigor, deep performance marketing expertise, and the ability to translate data into actionable strategy and investment decisions. You’ll spearhead our channel efficiency, incrementally, and investment modeling practices—building business cases, scenario analyses, and marginal ROI tradeoff frameworks that influence how and where we deploy marketing spend for maximum impact.

What You Will Work On

  • Own the holistic strategy across Paid Search, SEO/AEO, Affiliate, and emerging high-intent channels, ensuring strategic alignment with pipeline growth and CAC targets.
  • Define channel objectives with clear KPIs, measurement frameworks, and efficiency goals to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Lead annual and quarterly investment planning, budgeting, and forecasting; allocate and optimize spend to maximize ROI and improve CAC.
  • Strengthen analytics and measurement practices by partnering with Analytics and Finance to connect marketing investment to pipeline generation, revenue impact, and overall ROI.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to ensure best-in-class tracking, targeting infrastructure, lead flow, and data quality.
  • Develop and manage a high-performing team of channel experts, elevating strategic thinking and operational excellence.
  • Identify, test, and scale new channels and technologies (e.g., AEO, AI-driven workflows, etc.) to expand reach and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with PMM, Integrated Marketing, Analytics, and Web Experience teams to enhance customer journeys and execute cohesive GTM programs.

How You Will Do Your Work

How results are achieved is as important as the results themselves. In this role, your impact will be grounded in the following competencies:

  • Strategic Thinking – You connect channel tactics to long-term growth goals, balancing efficiency with smart investment bets.
  • Analytical Acumen – You deeply understand performance drivers, build forecasting and scenario models, and use data to guide decisions.
  • Optimization Mindset – You embrace experimentation, using structured testing to systematically improve conversion, efficiency, and scale.
  • Operational Discipline – You uphold high standards for tracking accuracy, audience quality, data integrity, and cross-channel consistency.
  • Collaborative Influence – You build alignment across Sales, Finance, PMM, Analytics, and Marketing Ops, navigating complex problems with clarity and partnership.
  • Leadership & Coaching – You inspire and develop a high-performing team, setting clear expectations and elevating execution across channels.
  • Adaptability – You navigate evolving market dynamics, platform changes, and business priorities with agility and focus.
