Job Summary:
As a Collateral Perfection Analyst in the Real Estate Team, you will ensure the lien on collateral is effectively managed and released when no longer needed. You will support Business Banking, Commercial & Investment Banking, and the Commercial Term Lending portfolio by reviewing collateral files, preparing legal documentation, and assisting internal departments with collateral disposition.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervising the tickler process within the Collateral Perfection Real Estate team.
- Interact extensively with internal business partners, management, and third-party vendors.
- Provide training, coaching, and supervision of the tickler process.
- Research and obtain outstanding recorded loan documents via phone/email contact with third parties.
- Conduct quality reviews of recorded loan documents to ensure accuracy and lien position.
- Obtain outstanding title policies from title companies and review for accuracy and lien position.
- Participate in projects and working groups as required.
- Understand and follow Bank policy and established procedures.
- Meet or exceed established Service Level Agreements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 3 years of loan operations experience in a banking or financial services industry.
- 1 year of experience reading, interpreting, and preparing real estate legal loan documents.
- Expert understanding of commercial real estate loan documentation.
- Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to tasks.
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office programs and adaptable to new systems.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Must be (or be able to become) a Notary.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience performing quality review of legal loan documents and title policies.
- Experience in staff training and/or writing process procedures.
- Commercial Loan systems knowledge, including ACBS and Loan IQ.
- Production-oriented with a quality focus.
- Critical and independent thinking skills.
