Job Summary:
As a Vice President of Trading Services within our team, you will act as the functional owner and executive of a cluster of processes delivered by the team. You will ensure the overall execution of the process, including the design and adherence to the control framework. Your primary responsibility will be to develop talent, grow their knowledge of the process, and drive the transformation of the process to ensure integrity and audit-readiness. You will have a seat at the global table, expected to lead strategically and deliver lasting improvements across the ecosystem.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set the pace and tone for the team's engagement and success, acting as a role model of the firm's values.
- Lead strategically and deliver lasting improvements across the value chain.
- Act as the functional owner and executive of a cluster of processes delivered by the team.
- Lead and manage a team of analysts and associates, providing guidance and support.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the process, ensuring compliance and operational soundness.
- Develop and mentor team members, enhancing their knowledge and skills.
- Identify potential business risk incidents and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks.
- Drive initiatives aimed at transforming processes to enhance scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Prioritize customer-mindedness in all aspects of the role.
- Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 10 years of experience in trading services, investment banking, or a related role.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team at a senior level.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Knowledge of trading platforms and financial markets.
