As a Vice President and Lead for Applied AI/ML in the Global Bank Technology team, you will lead the creation and implementation of innovative GenAI applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI integration and innovation within global business operations, contributing directly to the firm's success and industry advancement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and deployment of GenAI applications, including Search, Chatbots, and Agents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration and drive innovation within global business operations.
  • Utilize expertise in AI, natural language processing, and deep learning to design and implement solutions that improve business processes and outcomes.
  • Mentor and guide a team of AI professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous learning.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI technology to ensure the organization remains at the cutting edge of innovation.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying AI applications, with a strong focus on natural language processing and deep learning techniques, and at least 6 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team of AI professionals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of successfully addressing complex business challenges using AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and experience in leveraging these technologies for AI model deployment and scalability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Understanding of large language model (LLM) approaches, such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent-based models, with the ability to apply these techniques to solve business problems.
  • Familiarity with enterprise search technologies and the ability to design and implement search solutions that enhance information retrieval and accessibility within a business context.
  • Expertise in AWS cloud services, including experience in designing and deploying scalable AI solutions using AWS infrastructure.
