Chase is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join the New Payment Rails team as a Product Delivery & Portfolio Planning Manager for an innovative product initiative. You will help pioneer advancements in new payment rails and networks, including The Clearing House's Real Time Payments, FedNow, and Early Warning Service's Zelle Network. This role will focus on delivering a groundbreaking 0-to-1 product to enhance service and protection for Chase's customers within the dynamic Pay by Bank ecosystem.

As a Vice President, Product Delivery & Portfolio Planning Manager within the New Payment Rails team, you will lead delivery planning for two key products: a new digital solution to expand the Zelle Network, and Chase's real-time payments capability.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversee the product delivery lifecycle, driving efficiency and improvements across intake, capacity planning, prioritization, dependency management, testing, release management, defect resolution, and performance reporting.
  • Manage the product delivery roadmap and dependencies, resolving blockers, sequencing work, and optimizing resources for timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Strengthen alignment by managing relationships and communications with partner teams across Chase and JPMorgan Payments, along with cross-functional partners such as design, data analytics, and engineering.
  • Partner with tech and agility leads to ensure adherence to product agility metrics and maintain backlog hygiene, enhancing workflow and continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership with timely updates on status changes and risks, along with mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with risk, controls, business mandates, and regulatory standards to sustain an agile product lifecycle.
  • Maintain clear documentation of product processes and decisions to ensure transparency, support continuous improvement, and uphold accountability.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 7+ years in financial services, digital product management or agile software development, with at least 5 years in a product role demonstrating successful product delivery.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex product or project delivery, optimizing resources to ensure timely completion.
  • Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating a clear vision for efficient execution.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and passionate about creating order from chaos, with strong organizational skills to manage tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to collaborate, influence, and drive decisions with diverse stakeholders, including teams across product, technology, data analytics, and design.
  • Established track record in managing risk and controls effectively.
  • Ability to travel occasionally between offices in New York, NY and Jersey City, NJ.
  • Strong understanding of payment networks, payment rails and market dynamics.
