As a Vice President, Policy Lead for Financial Health in the JPMorgan Chase PolicyCenter, you will lead initiatives focused on financial health and an economy that works for all. You will be instrumental in shaping and advocating for policies that foster inclusive economic opportunities and address barriers to mobility. Job Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and advocate for innovative public policy and legislative opportunities that promote financial health and an economy that works for all.
  • Leverage the firm's assets and expertise to drive impactful policy changes and create economic opportunities for underserved communities.
  • Design and implement advocacy strategies to engage government officials and advance policy recommendations at local, state, and federal levels.
  • Build and sustain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and community organizations, to support policy initiatives.
  • Represent the PolicyCenter in meetings with external stakeholders, including elected officials, policymakers, and strategic partners.
  • Convene and coordinate networks of external partners to elevate the profile of the PolicyCenter's work and advance advocacy efforts.
  • Collaborate with JPMC business leaders and colleagues across Corporate Responsibility to align policy initiatives with the firm's strategic goals.
  • Work with Communications and Public Affairs teams to develop and execute communication strategies that effectively convey policy priorities.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in public policy, advocacy, or related fields, with a focus on financial health and equitable economic growth.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and advancing policies that promote financial health, individual wealth creation, and an economy that works for all.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex policy issues into accessible content.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and coalitions with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the PolicyCenter's mission and a commitment to driving meaningful change.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in federal, state, or local government.
  • Advanced degree in public policy, economics, or related field.
