As a Vendor Issues Management and Risk Manager Senior Associate in the HR Vendor Management team, you will shape risk oversight and decision-making to enable strategic outcomes, leveraging your action-oriented approach and deep JPMC expertise.

Job responsibilities
- Support Vendor Risk Program leads with early escalation to HR Controls, Workforce Technology, and Workforce Data; ensure timely updates and effective decisions
- Maintain an effective issue tracking process for vendor risks; monitor, summarize concerns, and follow up on actions
- Lead weekly risk review meetings with HR Controls, HR Vendor Management, Workforce Technology, and Workforce Data executives; document decisions and action items
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify risks, decision rationale, and key factors
- Enhance risk review and issue management processes; support change adoption and provide SME guidance on vendor risk review and control topics
- Deliver regular program metrics and HR Operating Committee follow-up updates
- Manage high-visibility vendor risk initiatives and tasks
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
- Enhance operations to strengthen risk visibility and escalation
- Continuously refine processes using feedback and industry best practices
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience in risk management, business controls, vendor management, legal, sourcing, compliance, audit or related roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand stakeholder pain points, find the root cause of complex problems and provide creative solutions
- Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint and experience with data analysis tools and languages
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to lead meetings with senior leadership
- Ability to manage multiple global projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record of delivering results
- Ability to build relationships and work with external and internal stakeholders
- Possess a process improvement mindset to create efficiencies
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills to ensure timely updates and follow up on action items
