As a User Interface Visual Designer, Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products and services by leveraging your advanced knowledge of experience design principles. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, create innovative, inclusive, and accessible solutions that cater to a diverse range of users. As a core contributor, align user needs with business goals. Your strong understanding of the financial services industry and JPMC's IT systems will contribute to the continuous improvement of our offerings, navigating complex problems and driving strategic thinking. Your impact will be significant in the design, architecture, and functionality of our products, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers.

Become part of the AI Experience Design team. As a User Interface and Visual Designer in our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our end-user focused AI application. Your work will directly impact how users interact with our products, ensuring they are usable, consistent, highly functional and aesthetically pleasing.

  • Job Responsibilities
    • Design and develop elegant solutions to specific interaction problems while adhering to industry best practices
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate inclusive design principles and accessibility guidelines to ensure our products and services cater to a diverse range of users
    • Operate with an iterative design mindset and incorporate user feedback and insights to continuously improve the overall user experience of our offerings
    • Contribute impactful UI / visual design solutions to solve for a broad array of complex business problems
    • Develop, maintain and promote design systems to ensure consistency
    • Create illustrations, icons, and other visual elements to enhance user interfaces and marketing materials
    • Present design decisions to stakeholders based on user research and best practices
    • Deliver designs that comply with accessibility standards and best practices

    Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
    • 5+ years in a UI/VD or equivalent role dedicated to improving digital products and services
    • Proven ability to create visually appealing and functional designs using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite)
    • Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing user experiences across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and other digital channels
    • Proficient understanding of inclusive design principles, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies, with a history of creating accessible and inclusive digital experiences
    • A proactive mindset with a strong bias toward collaboration
    • Strong portfolio showcasing your Visual Design and UI skills
    • A pragmatic approach to design and how to scale design solutions through the creation and maintenance of design systems
    • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Strong understanding of accessibility guidelines and inclusive design practices

    Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
    • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Prior experience working in an Agile development environment
    • Passion for continuous learning and staying current with industry trend
