US Health & Insurance Benefits Delivery Executive Director

As the ED of U.S. Health and Insurance Benefits Delivery within the Health and Insurance eligibility and enrollment ecosystem, you will lead efforts to achieve excellence in vendor management, employee experience, quality, and controls. You will play a crucial role in coordinating with U.S. Benefits, Technology, Employee Experience, HR Teams, and our vendor partners to deliver a cohesive and impactful benefits enrollment experience. Managing a team of approximately 5 employees, you will be instrumental in adapting program changes and promoting improvements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of the Health and Insurance eligibility and enrollment ecosystem with a focus on vendor management, quality, and controls.
  • Drive communication of changes in Delivery to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation of system changes for ongoing and annual enrollment.
  • Coordinate across U.S. Benefits, Employee Experience and Technology, Employee Experience, HR Teams for a cohesive navigation and enrollment experience and maintain and enhance a strong control environment.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing with vendors to ensure quality.
  • Review participant-facing communications for accuracy and clarity.
  • Generate ad hoc queries to support departmental needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain required Government Regulatory obligations and monitor changes.
  • Manage special projects as needed, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Lead and develop a team of ~5 employees, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Work closely with U.S. Benefits team and act as the glue of the overall ecosystem.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate benefits or benefits consulting/Delivery.
  • Proven experience in a strategic, analytical, or metric-driven position.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent analytical, quality assurance, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and manage deliverables effectively, with a proactive instinct and hands-on approach to tackle challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in standard desktop applications: MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Access.
  • In-depth understanding of benefit plan rules and provisions.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnership.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in a large firm with 25,000 plus employees.
  • Prior Benefits Delivery at third party vendor experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare and insurance industry regulations and systems.
