Tri-Party & Margin Services Tax Client Service Analyst
Join our Tri-Party & Margin Services Tax Client Service team as an Analyst, where you'll have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with clients and internal teams. In this role, you'll support multiple clients with their Tax Services, ensuring proactive resolution of inquiries and contributing to service enhancements.
Job Summary:
As an Tri-Party & Margin Services Tax Client Service Analyst, within Tax Client Service team, you will support multiple clients in relation to their Tax Services. Collaborate closely with the Tax Client Service team and the Global Tax Operations team, serving as the primary contact for tax inquiries. Your responsibilities include managing client relationships, contributing to service reviews, analyzing root causes of recurring issues, and providing guidance on tax documentation and regulatory reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tax inquiries to support clients' tax servicing needs.
- Take proactive responsibility for resolving client inquiries within established standards.
- Manage client relationships proactively to ensure satisfaction and service quality.
- Execute forward-thinking strategies to maintain response quality and prevent case reopening.
- Contribute to the tax component of service reviews and client meetings.
- Analyze root causes of recurring issues and assist in developing service enhancement programs.
- Provide support and guidance on tax documentation, relief at source, reclaims, and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the Sub Custodian network and the internal Network Management Group.
- Continually review operational tax processes to identify enhancement areas.
- Identify and escalate tax risks and participate in resolution.
- Assist in client tax account reviews and ad-hoc projects across the wider Tax Operations team.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- In-depth operational tax experience within financial services, specifically in global custody or investment banking.
- Proven experience in successful internal and external communication and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated risk awareness and operational control experience within financial services.
- Experience in process improvement, articulating ideas and procedural changes to clients.
- Strong client focus and ability to manage relationships effectively.
- Proven experience in environments where accuracy is critical within strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Association of Taxation Technicians qualification.
- Investment Operations Certificate or other industry-related benchmark qualification.
- Experience in Collateral products.
