Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end reporting of CIB FR Y-15 (GSIB) and Leverage (SLR) results based on a monthly and quarterly cycle.
- Review results with critical mindset and create in-depth analysis for senior management reviews.
- Serve as subject-matter expert and advise senior management, business leads, and Corporate partners on a wide range of topics including new business initiatives, policy changes, and rules implementation.
- Execute ad-hoc analysis and presentations in support of financial and strategic goals.
- Partner with Capital Policy, Corporate Accounting Policy, and Legal teams on implementation of new capital rules and regulatory requirements.
- Leverage a deep understanding of the CIB operations and financial principles and a working knowledge of key business drivers to coordinate, assess, and execute the long-term goals and priorities of the team.
- Coordinating results consolidation and dissemination, collection and preparation of adjustments and management saves.
- Partnering with Corporate and CIB Sub-LoB controller teams to review accuracy and completeness of reporting, as well as identify major drivers and themes.
- Getting involved in projects to improve operational processes. enhance efficiency and controls, as well as further our technology journey.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum 3 years business and financial management experience.
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skillset (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of financial products and markets, as well as ability to link results to activities.
- Aptitude to work collaboratively and develop strong relationships across the organization.
- Aptitude for identifying business needs, improving on current processes, and driving operational change.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong preference for financial reporting or product controller related experience.
- Preference for practical knowledge on data visualization and automation (Tableau, Alteryx, SQL).
