As a Transaction Processing Manager within the Managed Funds or Fund of Funds Custody Operations team at JPMorgan, you will handle and oversee deal placement and post-trade functions, ensuring seamless operations and client satisfaction. You will manage transactions workflows and act as a point of escalation, contributing to the strategic objectives of the department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise workflow to prevent bottlenecks and missed instructions.
- Assess work allocation and identify areas of capacity.
- Act as a point of escalation for supervisors and support high-volume days.
- Record and monitor error logs and aged items.
- Perform transactions for hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equities.
- Ensure adherence to controls and escalate risk items immediately.
- Conduct staff meetings and one-on-ones to enhance performance.
- Mentor supervisors and assist in their development.
- Update SOPs and SLAs, ensuring compliance.
- Comply with audit and compliance regulations.
- Provide input and management for team projects.
- Implement strategy and core objectives in line with global operations.
- Provide guidance and feedback to supervisors and team members.
- Focus on team deliverables and adherence to SLAs.
- Develop and monitor staff performance.
- Recruit key talent into the team.
- Interact with internal business lines and external auditors.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in finance industry operations.
- Minimum 3 years in a team management/supervisory role.
- Experience in managing/implementing change.
- Knowledge of general and alternative investments.
- Sound knowledge of financial markets.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Tertiary qualification preferable.
- Project management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership qualities and team-building skills.
- Ability to manage change and meet strict deadlines.
