DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Analyze and interpret large datasets related to alternative investment volumes and trends. Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns and predict future trends. Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Collaborate across Operations, Structuring, Sales Management Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to provide data- driven insights and recommendations. Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support investment decisions and strategy development. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and alternative investments. Automate data collection, cleaning, and analysis processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Psychology, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Trading Associate, Financial Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Data science tools within finance industry using UIPath, Alteryx, Python, Tableau, and Xceptor; automating manual transaction processing, pricing, and reconciliation processes; presenting results of financial analysis to stakeholders and external partners; developing UAT plans and test cases; analyzing UAT test results to identify patterns and root causes of issues using Alteryx Designer and Jupyter; presenting newly developed tools and functions to stakeholders; Alternative Investment accounting and transactions including Alternative Investments Business, products, and transactions; data conversions and cleanup; systems testing; and system design and enhancement using data science tools including Signavio.

Full-Time. Salary: $128,000 - $187,000 per year.
