DESCRIPTION:
Duties: The NA Rates Swaps Middle Office provides operational support to the NA Rates USD Swaps and G10 Short Term Interest Rate Trading businesses. The primary responsibilities include working closely with the trading desks to provide end to end book running services, which include trade capture, P&L and Risk analysis and controls along transaction life cycle. Accurately capture and reconcile all transactions in the risk management systems and efficiently resolve any discrepancies found on trade loadings. Act as first point of contact for the trading desk in a wide variety of matters. Work closely with business partners such as Product/Financial Control, Settlements & Confirmations Back Office and Technology enforcing and improving the control environment. Accurately produce, reconcile & explain the desks trading P&L, Risk and Positions. Perform key controls to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance of the business and trading activities. Participate and contribute to various strategic initiatives; keep improving and evolving our processes and controls. Supervise, assist, and train junior analysts to ensure their responsibilities are being undertaken diligently.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Trading Services, Trading Services Analyst, Technical Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Interest Rate Derivative Middle Office at major swaps dealers; Trading desk including swaps, futures, bonds, checking valuation of sales packages, ensuring they're in line with trader's expectations, checking EOD risk position and Profit and Loss, and Ensuring all bookings feed correctly and fixing if any technological issues preventing it; Risk and PnL management, Compression activity, Centralized book models for global businesses; Understanding of risk measures used to show a desks exposure to the market to highlight issues and giving risk impacts in BPV and Futeq formats; Oversight and controls of high volume and algorithmic trading desks checking trade populations booked vs Electronic venues, and look at trade valuations in the Risk Management System to compare vs the Trader Blotter; US Treasury settlement flows that supports trade of US Treasuries to ensure work with Trading and Counterparties in case of issues; Testing technology enhancements on in house Trade Capture systems; Oversight of critical reconciliations against bilateral counterparties and clearing house; Building automation workflows in tools such as Alteryx; Regulatory Reporting requirements of a swaps desks across multiple trading jurisdictions including CFTC, ESMA, FCA, and ASIC.

Full-Time. Salary: $112,300 - $131,000 per year.
