Job Summary:
As an Associate Liquid Credit Trader within the Global Credit Financing team, you would be responsible for helping to grow the Liquid Credit Financing platform, specifically as it relates to Bond TRS. This would include coordinating with various trading, sales and structuring teams to identify new opportunities, reviewing and pricing potential transactions and efficiently capturing the daily flow trading and risk. In addition, you would back up other financing traders within the team and support the completion of various projects required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Execute trade financing transactions on liquid corporate bonds and broadly syndicated loans across various financing structures including TRS and ABLs for hedge funds, asset managers, credit funds, and private equity funds.
- Assist the team to scope and build out the Bond TRS platform within credit trading with a focus on improving technology and efficiency to accommodate the daily flow.
- Develop an understanding of and analyze the risk and liquidity of single name and portfolio trading opportunities to determine both the leverage provided and swap pricing.
- Collaborate with partnering cash trading desks, sales, and structuring to identify potential opportunities and drive growth of the LCF platform.
- Coordinate with both structuring and portfolio trading to lay the foundation for a synthetic customized bond basket offering for clients.
- Develop an understanding of the legal, accounting, tax, and other risks associated with the various financing products.
- Work with internal partners [i.e., risk, MO, tech, VCG, BM] to push various initiatives in an attempt to both grow the product and improve the client offering.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Experience working in the front office of a top tier Investment Bank and/or Capital Markets firm
- Strong understanding of credit markets and products and the operations of a trading desk
- Experience with credit products including leveraged loans, corporate bonds, CLO tranches, and the overall structuring of financing transactions
- Strong partnership skills to work across internal channels
- Strong background in the utilization of technology to improve controls and efficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill and ability to market an idea or structure
- Experience reading and reviewing legal documents
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
- Self-directed, highly motivated, willingness to be flexible and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
