As a Specialty Product Specialist IV in Trade and Working Capital, you will process trade finance transactions to facilitate the purchase and sale of goods. Our unit at the Philippines Corporate Center is responsible for service delivery activities across ASIAPAC, Europe, Middle East & Africa, and the U.S. region. We operate on an 'originate to distribute' model, leveraging our global network to maximize financing for clients while mitigating counterparty risk.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process transactions in accordance with JPMorgan & Chase Co. policies and International Chamber of Commerce Rules like UCP600, ISBP, URR725.
- Monitor queues, allocate work, and prioritize transactions to ensure quality and adherence to service level agreements.
- Identify and escalate red flags, OFAC regulatory issues, AML concerns, and Boycott language breaches.
- Partner with transaction processing teams to adopt best practices and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, management, and partners in Sales, Service, and Product.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving abilities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Understand process orientation and implications of upstream and downstream activities.
- Perform detailed research and resolve issues promptly.
- Actively participate in new projects and maintain control of the environment in respect of JPMorgan & Chase Co. policies and local regulatory rules.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of US Regulations and OFAC Compliance.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Background in the banking industry, preferably with accounting and finance knowledge.
- CDCS and CITF certifications are preferred.
