Job Summary

As an Operations Specialist in Agency Lending Operations, you will support the Securities Lending Trading desk by monitoring client sales and ensuring adequate inventory for settlement. You will assist in recalling or swapping positions for proxy events, buffer management, MSCI rebalance, and client transitions. Your role will involve direct liaison with counterparties and agent banks to ensure trade settlement and asset transitions for APAC clients. You will protect the interests of our clients and the bank, maintaining integrity in the marketplace and ensuring optimal service levels.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for the Securities Lending Trading desk.
  • Monitor client sales and ensure adequate inventory for settlement.
  • Assist in recalling or swapping positions for proxy events, buffer management, MSCI rebalance, and client transitions.
  • Monitor Securities Lending trades to ensure settlement, liaising directly with counterparties and agent banks.
  • Manage transitions of assets for APAC clients due to client requests and cover incremental requests for client re-structures in the APAC time zone.
  • Protect clients' and the bank's interests, maintaining integrity in the marketplace.
  • Ensure optimal service levels for all clients, documenting and escalating negative trends with proposed solutions.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Minimum three years' experience in Securities Lending, Settlements, Trade Support/Middle Office, Custody, or Corporate Actions role.
  • Good knowledge of Global Financial Markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Able to work on high pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with software tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Tableau, and Alteryx Suite.
