Trade Support Analyst

As a Collateral Services Operations Analyst within the Collateral Services Operations, you manage end‑to‑end collateral and escrow processes supporting clients' derivatives exposures and the terms of their International Swaps and Derivatives Association agreements and Credit Support Annexes. You liaise directly with counterparties to agree daily margin calls and collateral movements while upholding rigorous risk and control standards. You partner closely with middle office and client implementation teams to deliver a best‑in‑class client experience and seamless onboarding. You continuously improve processes and reporting to reduce risk and strengthen controls across daily operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage international securities and escrow collateral processes aligned to International Swaps and Derivatives Association agreements and Credit Support Annexes.
- Agree, instruct, and reconcile daily margin calls and collateral movements with market counterparties.
- Maintain a strong risk and control environment; document workflows and task lists; implement approved controls to minimize financial risk.
- Escalate issues promptly, drive cross‑party resolution, and update procedures to prevent recurrence.
- Partner with Risk Management to identify, assess, and remediate potential risks.
- Execute daily specialist checklists and ensure timely sign‑offs and completion.
- Coordinate with middle office on client satisfaction and with client implementation teams on onboarding activities.
- Ensure all work is actioned, accounted for, and compliant with control procedures; escalate when necessary.
- Analyze and improve processes to enhance efficiency and control effectiveness.
- Track and report key performance indicators and management information; analyze volume trends and errors and recommend solutions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum 5years of experience in securities operations such as securities lending, settlements, trade support, or middle office.
- Proven experience in collateral management for derivatives, including International Swaps and Derivatives Association and Credit Support Annex processes.
- Strong knowledge of global financial markets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
