Trade Lifecycle Specialist IV

As a Trade Lifecycle Specialist IV within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing moderate to complex tasks related to, Foreign Exchange transactions. Your work will have a significant impact within your team, ensuring all breaks and queries are resolved timely and efficiently to mitigate risk and provide exceptional client service to our customers on respective platforms. You will leverage your expertise in a variety of work processes, applying advanced knowledge of policies and procedures to solve non-routine problems. Your role will involve working on escalated assignments, requiring you to apply problem-solving techniques and improve existing processes. Your ability to actively listen, manage internal stakeholders, create presentations, and initiate process improvements will be key to your success in this role.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate across other business lines to ensure seamless operations.
 - Regularly manage failed settlements, specifically resolving nostro breaks.
 - Establishing an excellent relationship with internal partners and external clients
 - Utilize various systems and tools to reconcile ledgers, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
 - Contribute to the review and improvement of end-to-end processes, applying knowledge of process improvement methodologies to optimize operations.
 - Support the implementation of automation initiatives, leveraging knowledge of systems architecture and automation technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
 - Understand the function and relevant processes end to end. Assist in identification of issues, analysis of problems and implementation of solutions.
 
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving techniques to resolve defined problems within the trade lifecycle.
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns, detect anomalies, and propose effective solutions
 - Experience in using systems architecture and automation technologies to support operational efficiency.
 - Ability to create and deliver presentations to peers, managers, and stakeholders using standard office software applications.
 - Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize workload whilst working as part of a team.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in an operational / financial services / customer services environment.
 - Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes and propose solutions within the trade lifecycle.
 - FX experience is desirable, although not essential
