As a Trade Lifecycle Associate within the Securities Services Operations team, you will lead and manage deal placement and post-trade functions for Fund of Funds Custody Operations.

You will supervise workflow to prevent bottlenecks and missed instructions as well as assess work allocation and identify areas of capacity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of escalation for supervisors and support high-volume days.
  • Record and monitor error logs and aged items.
  • Perform transactions for hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equities.
  • Ensure adherence to controls and escalate risk items immediately.
  • Conduct staff meetings and one-on-ones to enhance performance.
  • Mentor supervisors and assist in their development.
  • Update SOPs and SLAs, ensuring compliance.
  • Comply with audit and compliance regulations.
  • Provide input and management for team projects.
  • Implement strategy and core objectives in line with global operations.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to supervisors and team members.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in finance industry operations.
  • Minimum 3 years in a team management/supervisory role.
  • Experience in managing/implementing change.
  • Knowledge of general and alternative investments.
  • Sound knowledge of financial markets.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification preferable.
  • Project management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership qualities and team-building skills.
  • Ability to manage change and meet strict deadlines.
