As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst within the Trade Operations Team, you will be the primary contact for external clients and front office teams, handling operational issues, trade bookings, and process improvements. You will manage the trade lifecycle, coordinate with global partners, and ensure timely resolution of client queries. Your role will focus on delivering best practices, promoting operational enhancements, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Job responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for external clients on operational issues, including pre-matching, settlements, documentation, audit, technology, account setup, and client reporting.
  • Act as the primary contact for front office trading and sales on Stock Borrow and Loan (SBL) trade bookings and issue resolution.
  • Define and execute agendas for external clients, including best practice reviews, KPIs, surveys, and Straight Through Processing (STP) rates.
  • Attend quarterly review meetings with external clients and communicate open issues clearly to clients and internal partners.
  • Coordinate with global middle office and client service partners to drive process improvements and system changes.
  • Manage client queries, ensuring timely investigation and resolution.
  • Oversee the trade lifecycle, including allocations, settlements, corporate actions, affirmations, and regulatory reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with relevant partners to deliver solutions.
  • Apply MIS and trend analysis to identify root causes and partner with internal teams for resolution.
  • Work closely with external clients, settlement teams, and third-party institutions to settle client trades.
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate trade capture.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 1+ year in the financial industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across clients, marketers, traders, and support teams.
  • Self-starter with initiative, ownership mentality, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to escalate issues appropriately and drive operational or industry initiatives.
  • Effective team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task, and manage global initiatives and projects.
  • Positive attitude, with the ability to work under pressure and manage quarterly review meetings with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a client-focused approach and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of derivatives regulatory requirements, regulatory reporting, and compliance in financial services.
  • Working knowledge of Equities, Bonds, and Swap products, including their relevant process flows.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formula construction and reconciliation solutions.
