DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Provide end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm's electronic trading platform. Support the day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems to ensure operational stability and availability. Assist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools. Identify issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholders. Analyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure. Engage vendors and stock exchanges to support firm's risk and handle outages. Carry out scripting to build or improve the tooling/monitoring platform to facilitate JPMC's electronic trading offering. Drive new application onboarding lifecycles from piloting to going fully live in production.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Financial Technology, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Technology Support, Production Support Analyst, Business/Data Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Financial Technology, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Technology Support, Production Support Analyst, Business/Data Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires 1 year of experience with the following: debugging and supporting trading systems running in C++ and Java frameworks using the Geneos monitoring framework; SOR, Algorithms including: VWAP, TWAP, and POV; order management systems, dark pools, and internal liquidity crossing; Carrying out Incident and Problem Management using the ITIL framework and ServiceNow; General purpose programming languages including Unix and Python; using Agile methodology for technical project delivery and tracking; Amazon Web Services applications and infrastructure including EC2, EKS, and MSK in a technology environment that handles billions of transactions on a daily basis, both on premises and public cloud; conducting monitoring and observability using Splunk, Corvil, and Geneos; driving solutions in an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
