As a Technology Resiliency Manager at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be a part of a flat-structure organization. Your responsibilities are to deliver end-to-end cutting-edge solutions in the form of cloud-native microservices architecture applications leveraging the latest technologies and the best industry practices. You are expected to be involved in the design and architecture of the solutions while also focusing on the entire SDLC lifecycle stages.

Our Technology Resiliency team is at the heart of this venture, focused on getting smart ideas into the hands of our customers. Role Description

The Technology Resilience Manager will have two core roles. The first part is managing Technology Resiliency Plans, their related Impact Analysis, Recovery Planning, planning and delivering on Testing requirements, and the Annual Review process. Participate in Incidents and engage teams as needed to mitigate impacts and resolve issues to minimize impact on our customers. They will need to utilize their knowledge of Customer Operations and work with cutting-edge technology squads to deliver resolutions through a pressurized environment with a cool head, strong instincts, and good judgment.

The second part of the role is to work with Application Owners to deliver market-leading Technology Resiliency plans and Crisis playbooks to ensure we know how to respond to threats and incidents that may affect our operations within a completely cloud-oriented environment.

This role is ideal for highly motivated individuals with advanced problem-solving and communication skills.

As you know, technology and financial services do not sleep, so the Global team you'd be joining supports availability on a 24/7/365 basis. We operate a follow-the-sun model, which means you'll work your daylight hours and hand over to one of our other Resiliency Managers when your shift finishes for the day.

As part of Chase's global team of Resiliency Managers and innovators, your work will have a massive impact, both on us as a company, as well as our customers in the UK and eventually throughout Europe.

Job responsibilities:

  • Conduct Application Impact Analyses (AIAs) and Technology Recovery Application Planning for all [key] Applications.
  • Implement effective Application Components for all impacted Applications and establish applicable Application Testing (Sustainability/Disaster Recovery/External Testing).
  • Develop Annual Testing Plans for both Application and Business Resiliency Testing Requirements.
  • Review, maintain, update, and test/exercise all Technology continuity documentation regularly in accordance with Firmwide Standards and Policy.
  • Represent technology at control domain committees.
  • Serve as the focal point for technology audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage technology controls risk and control framework.
  • Lead a globally diverse technology resilience team in their day-to-day tasks.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Proven ability to lead with influence, work methodically and calmly under pressure, facilitating and collaborating with colleagues to deliver the right outcomes for our business and customers.
  • Possess excellent proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in Technology Resiliency is essential.
  • Handle conflict situations and ability to make decisions.
  • Business analytical skills around reporting & governance.
  • Root cause analysis skillset on the data.
  • External market knowledge and trends.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Experience in cloud-based environments.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders both within our internal organization and with external suppliers and vendors.
