As a Technical Writer / Communications Lead Technical Program Manager in the Commercial and Investment Bank- Payments Technology, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.
As an experienced technical writer/communicator, you excel at sharing technology accomplishments and initiatives with clients, employees and stakeholders throughout the firm. This role focuses on customizing technical communications for both technical and non-technical audiences, ultimately maximizing team engagement and building our Payments Technology (PT) brand, both internally and externally, through a wide range of editorial content, live events, intranet and video. It requires a strong ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations with varied technical and non-technical skillsets and priorities. You'll work closely with partners including Technology, Payments, Corporate Communications, Operations and HR to identify opportunities to develop projects and programs to move the team forward, based on an understanding of the target audiences. Once you establish a roadmap, you'll ensure that deliverables are running on time, in accordance with firm-wide guidelines. Just as importantly, you'll set goals, foster collaboration and promote the values, culture and brand of J.P. Morgan Chase.

Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
- Leverage experience as a technical writer and communicator to excel at sharing technology accomplishments and initiatives with clients, employees and stakeholders throughout the firm
- Customize technical communications for both technical and non-technical audiences, ultimately maximizing team engagement and building the Payments Technology (PT) brand, both internally and externally, through a wide range of editorial content, live events, intranet and video
- Engage with partners including Technology, Payments, Corporate Communications, Operations and HR to identify opportunities to develop projects and programs to move the team forward, based on an understanding of the target audiences
- Establish roadmaps to ensure that deliverables are running on time, in accordance with firm-wide guidelines and set goals, foster collaboration and promote the values, culture and brand of J.P. Morgan Chase
- Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
- Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
- Ability to create and maintain relationships, work collaboratively and influence outcomes with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels throughout the firm
- Demonstrated hands on experience creating clear, concise and compelling communications across different mediums including but not limited to written/email, PowerPoint, intranet and videos; with adaptability to learn new tools
- Ability to analyze a target audience and come up with creative, effective messaging and media to best reach them
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Experience working in Technology
- An eye for clean, natural and artful layouts and presentations
- Experience organizing large events, both in person and virtual, from conception to logistical implementation
- Experience working with high-performing teams on complex program execution
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
