We are looking for a talented and dynamic individual to join Securities Service Technology technical project management team. As part of the team, you will execute projects on technology controls for Executive and Functional Metrics which includes Identity & Access Management, Technology Resiliency, Technology Governance Risk & Compliance and Vulnerability Management. You will partner with Application Development, Global Technology Infrastructure, SRE / Production Management, Information Security Management, Engineer & Architects teams and cross-functional teams to deliver on project requirements. The successful candidate will have a proven record working in a large complex global environment with teams globally.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation
- Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a fast-paced environment
- Comprehensive drive of end-to-end project execution on tech control programs across Securities Services.
- Detailed creation and maintenance of project plans and project trackers. Consistent maintenance of risks and issue logs.
- Regular setup of governance with project stakeholders to follow up on project progress and status.
- Proactive management of dependencies and coordinated efforts across teams such as Cybersecurity & Tech Control, Information Security Management, engineers, architects, and infrastructure managers across application development teams to meet deadlines.
- Coordinated efforts with central advocacy and development teams to resolve blocker frictions and dependencies, and effective assistance with problem-solving or prioritization.
- Insightful analysis of application and asset data to drive meaningful insights for presentation to management for decision-making and reporting.
- Valuable contribution to Senior Management reporting and accurate validation of data from central teams' reports.
- Up-to-date development and maintenance of project documentation and confluence pages.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with reporting tools such as Jira and/or Confluence
