Tech Risk and Controls Lead: Op Risk Controls Management Framework Support Lead-Vice President
As the Op Risk Controls Management Framework Support Lead within the Framework team, you will collaborate with the Framework Lead to ensure the successful execution of the workstream and Uplift program. You will be tasked with developing, maintaining, and implementing comprehensive governance and oversight structures, project plans, key milestones, and effective tracking and reporting mechanisms for issues, risks, and watch items. Building strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective governance, and aligning projects with organizational objectives will be essential. Your expertise in project management, governance, and cross-functional collaboration will be crucial in delivering impactful results and promoting continuous improvement across teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain program governance and oversight structures to support effective delivery of projects and initiatives.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including task assignments, timelines, and ownership, in collaboration with program leads.
- Create and maintain robust tracking and reporting mechanisms for issues, risks, and watch items to support proactive management.
- Design and implement operating procedures, guidance documents, and standardized stakeholder reporting to ensure consistency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to understand and address their needs and expectations.
- Define success metrics and ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
- Oversee daily tracking activities across teams, ensuring prompt escalation and resolution of issues.
- Produce clear, actionable dashboards and management reports to communicate program status, risks, and progress.
- Collaborate with team leads and cross-functional partners to align on plans, timelines, and key milestones.
- Facilitate effective communication and reporting to promote transparency and alignment across all stakeholders.
- Ensure all program activities comply with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent in business, technology risk management, or related field.
- Strong experience on Project management and Stakeholder management, with ability to lead an initiative or play a support role on the broader team. Proactive in change management and resolution.
- Proven experience in business / technology governance, issue management, data quality, or risk management.
- Strong understanding of process documentation, and program management.
- Experience with dashboard creation and management reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives to successful outcomes in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Disciplined approach to managing and improving processes and controls.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum BS or equivalent level of education/experience
- 5+ years in relevant business role, operations management, project/program management, or governance
- Strong experience on Project management and Stakeholder management, with ability to lead an initiative or play a support role on the broader team. Proactive in change management and resolution.
- Experience with business controls and Knowledge in business controls
