Tech Risk and Controls Lead - Data Quality Governance & Oversight Lead

Join our team to play a pivotal role in upholding operational excellence and driving change in risk management.

As the Global Technology Issue Management and Data Quality Program Governance and Oversight Lead within Risk Management & Controls, you will oversee the governance and execution of both the Issue Management and Data Quality programs for Global Technology, ensuring alignment with the firm's standards. In this role, you will define, develop, implement, and manage the daily operations of the governance and oversight operating model, including the creation of operating procedures, guidance documents, and the delivery of consistent reporting through dashboards and management reports.

You will collaborate closely with a range of stakeholders, including Business Control Managers, Firmwide CORE partners, and Issue Owners, contributing to comprehensive reporting on the Issue Management and Data Quality posture and its impact on the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage the governance and oversight operating model for both issue management and data quality programs within Global Technology.
  • Build and maintain operating procedures and guidance documents to support effective issue management and data quality practices.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate reporting via dashboards and management reports for control managers, issue owners, and action plan owners.
  • Collaborate with various levels of management to drive program and initiative success, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to control managers, issue owners, and action plan owners to ensure effective management and resolution of issues and data quality concerns.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices in issue management and data quality.
  • Prepare and present program updates, metrics, and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent in technology risk management, or related field.
  • Strong experience on Project management and Stakeholder management, with ability to lead an initiative or play a support role on the broader team. Proactive in change management and resolution.
  • Proven experience in technology governance, issue management, data quality, or risk management within a large, complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of operating model design, process documentation, and program management.
  • Experience with dashboard creation and management reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives to successful outcomes in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Disciplined approach to managing and improving processes and controls.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum BS or equivalent level of education/experience
  • 5+ years in relevant business role, operations management, project/program management, or governance
