As a Tech Risk & Controls Associate in Chief Technology Office, you will be a part of a team that supports the implementation of risk mitigation strategies, controls and action plans for the firm. Working closely with the technology risk teams and cross-functional partners, you contribute your skills and insights to the continuous improvement of risk management methods. Job responsibilities

  • Process Improvement & Automation

    - Identify opportunities for process improvement, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency through the adoption of low-code/no-code technologies.

    - Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions (e.g. PEGA, UiPath, or similar tools) to drive business process automation.
  • Collaboration & Delivery

    - Work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable automation solutions aligned with risk management objectives.
  • Risk Monitoring & Compliance

    - Assist in monitoring technology risks, ensuring compliance with firm standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Strategy & Controls Implementation

    - Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, controls, and action plans for technology-aligned processes.
  • Control Effectiveness & Improvement

    - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented controls, contribute to the recommendations for improvements and addressing gaps in risk management.
  • Stakeholder Communication

    - Communicate risk-related findings and updates, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and risk appetite.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience developing automation solutions using Low-Code/No-Code technologies, like PEGA and/or UiPath and/or Microsoft Power Platform or similar tools.
  • 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technology risk management, operational risk management, or a related field.
  • Proficient in risk identification, assessment, and control evaluation, with a strong understanding of industry standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex issues, develop risk mitigation strategies, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Exposure to risk management frameworks, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Passion for technology and eagerness to learn new tools and platforms.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
