Tech Audit [Multiple Positions Available]
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Work closely with business and technology Audit colleagues to ensure that key risks are identified and assessed in the program of audit coverage. Assist in all aspects of audits including risk assessments, audit planning, audit testing, control evaluation, report drafting and follow up and verification of issue closure. Perform audit work in accordance with department and professional standards, and complete assignments in an efficient manner. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of audit coverage. Write audit work papers and reports with minimal intervention by the Audit Manager. Perform technical Incident monitoring and post senior management on root cause analysis, resolution and audit consideration on the coverage. Partner with colleagues, stakeholders and control community members to evaluate, test and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of management controls with appropriate recommendations for improvement. This may be delivered through specific audit reviews or through ongoing involvement in major activities or projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as Tech Audit, Advisory Consultant, Quality Engineer, Software Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Tech Audit, Advisory Consultant, Quality Engineer, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: internal or external technology auditing experience in IT general control (ITGC) areas, using audit management tool AuditBoard; data quality control including data integrity, data protection, data provisioning, data retention and destruction; system development life cycle concepts; distributed computing environment; assessing the probability and impact of an internal control weakness; coding to perform control reviews of application code; data analytics skills, cyber security controls, cloud design and controls.
