Job Responsibilities
- Oversee validation and review of all U.S. tax forms and filings for accuracy and compliance
- Develop and implement robust controls and processes for tax documentation
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and update validation procedures accordingly
- Lead transformation initiatives to improve processes, technology adoption, and efficiency
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the tax function
- Identify and drive opportunities for automation and process optimization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance, Legal, and Operations
- Communicate complex tax issues and transformation strategies to executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tax initiatives with business objectives
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing tax team
- Assess and mitigate tax-related risks, contributing to strategic planning and reporting

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field
- CPA, JD, or equivalent professional certification
- Minimum 10 years of experience in U.S. tax, including leadership roles
- Proven expertise in tax form validation and compliance management
- Demonstrated ability to lead transformation initiatives and drive change
- Strong understanding of U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engaging senior stakeholders
- Experience managing and developing teams in a complex, matrixed environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Master's degree in Taxation, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in a large, multinational organization or financial services industry
- Track record of successful process automation and technology implementation in tax operations
- Advanced knowledge of tax technology platforms and data analytics tools
- Change management certification or formal training in transformation leadership
- Experience working with cross-functional teams on enterprise-wide initiatives
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
