Sr lead Cybersecurity Architect
As a Sr. lead Architect in Cybersecurity and Technology controls new and emerging risk department, you'll join an organization that leverages your skills to help develop, test and scale data science enabled solutions that help secure our systems by design, protect our data and strengthen resiliency.
Your ability to understand data relationships and take ownership of data-driven tasks will be key to your success. You'll also develop approaches and/or processes to accomplish goals with an emphasis on A/B testing & advanced analytics. You will help drive a number of experimental engagements that will leverage data science to robustly evaluate the effect of novel interventions in the software, model and data development lifecycles, and scale their deployment across different firm-wide teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of various strategies, initiatives, and ML/AI models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing opportunities and develop hypothesis-driven proposals for novel risk reduction strategies, along with the rationale for how they advance the priorities of the businesses we support
- Leverage a variety of statistical and mathematical techniques and algorithms to analyze datasets and solve complex business problems
- Obtain and validate data assets for experimental use, either through familiarity with the firm's systems of record, and/or through developing relationships with x-LoB data SMEs
- Ensure rigorous statistical analysis and interpretation of test results to inform business decisions
- Identify creative opportunities to enrich and extend hypothesis-driven data experimentations using the firm's existing data assets, to drive incremental value
- Integrate successful solutions with the existing JPMC application estate, Governance, Risk, Control ecosystem, and systems of record
- Prepare concrete delivery plans for how to scale up validated solutions - use case cadence, stakeholder priorities, infrastructure required, feature roadmap, obstacles foreseen etc
- Develop data-driven narratives that summarize and communicate key messages to senior management, sponsors, and colleagues

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Formal training or certification and 5+ years of experience working in an A/B testing and/or analytical role and/or enterprise data science role
- MS degree in a related field, such as Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or similar STEM discipline
- Experience using statistical programming languages (Python, R) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
- Demonstrable curiosity about enterprise technology, risk and decision-making
- Practical understanding of ML/AI and its use in enterprise contexts
- Adept at explaining and converting complex concepts into digestible information for audiences at various levels of the business
- Strong storytelling capabilities
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Functional industry experience in finance, cybersecurity, operations, sales, marketing, credit/risk, or technology
- Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry
- Experience working with UX research techniques
- CISSP
- Experience working in management/strategy/technology consulting
