Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or breakdown technical problems. Create secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development. Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems. Build workflows and Business rules using Pega and Camunda technologies. Develop software or a Microservices environment that deploys as a REST API. Develop a scalable, efficient, and cost-effective deployment solution leveraging AWS services. Implement and Automate CI/CD processes. Develops Test Automation Suite to enable faster time to market. Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. Contribute to the software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 (Five) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 3 (Three) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Designing and developing scalable microservices architectures using Spring boot and Java; Developing integration and communication through REST APIs using Apache Kafka; Performing cloud infrastructure management and deployment using AWS Cloud Services and leveraging container orchestration with Kubernetes for efficient resource utilization and scalability; Utilizing Front-end development with React to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces; Implementing robust data management and analysis solutions using Oracle databases and Splunk for real-time monitoring and insights; Conducting comprehensive testing strategies, including Automated Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Unit Testing, to ensure software quality and reliability; Employing version control using GIT to manage code repositories and streamline development workflows; Developing and maintaining business process management solutions using Pega, optimizing operational efficiency and process automation.
