Software Engineer II - Cloud Identity & Infrastructure

This role contributes to the design, integration, and automation of enterprise cloud identity solutions within our IAM organization. The engineer will work alongside senior team members on Google Cloud Identity deployments while gaining hands-on exposure to AWS services such as Managed AD and Identity Center. This role provides excellent learning opportunities in cloud identity technologies, banking compliance frameworks, and enterprise-scale infrastructure automation in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the deployment and integration of Google Cloud Identity
  • Support AWS identity services, including Managed AD and Identity Center implementations
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools in Python, PowerShell, and .NET C#
  • Contribute to Terraform modules and CI/CD pipeline development with mentorship
  • Build foundational knowledge in SCIM APIs and identity lifecycle management
  • Document solutions, create technical guides, and contribute to knowledge bases
  • Participate in code reviews and learn best practices from senior engineers
  • Collaborate within an Agile/Kanban framework using JIRA for project tracking
  • Support troubleshooting and maintenance of existing identity infrastructure

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Relevant software engineering or infrastructure experience
  • Academic or internship exposure to Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure identity services
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, C#, PowerShell, or Java/Groovy)
  • Basic understanding of IAM concepts and authentication/authorization standards (SAML, OAuth preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Interest in banking/financial services technology and compliance frameworks
  • Eagerness to learn enterprise-scale identity management solutions

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Technical writing abilities
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines preferred
