DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre- defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Perform production support, including deploy, monitor, and analysis of incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires 3 years of experience with the following: designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using Java Enterprise Edition, Java, Python, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Eureka service discovery, Api Gateway and JWT; designing, building and managing scalable, reliable microservices architectures in Cloud with orchestration and event choreography patterns; ensuring adherence to best practices in application architecture and infrastructure architecture disciplines; creating dynamic, responsive web applications using JavaScript, Angular, React, NodeJS, jQuery, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and XML; integrating front-end and back-end components to deliver seamless user experience; managing library upgrades and migrations of Java Enterprise Edition, Java, Python, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Eureka service discovery, Api Gateway and JWT; enabling Spring Cache to optimize data load and improve application response times in production environment; developing and maintaining system using technologies Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, REST, JSON, and Apache Tomcat; automating builds, deployments, and testing processes using tools Jenkins, Maven, Bitbucket, Git, and Sonar; applying Agile for project development and delivery; conducting automated, Behavioral Driven Design, functional, performance, regression, system integration, and unit testing using Junit, JMeter and Postman; monitoring application performance and troubleshooting issues with tools including Dynatrace, Splunk and Grafana; implementing Pub/Sub model, Command Query Responsibility Segregation pattern and dead letter queue for exception handling for streaming; developing and optimizing SQL queries for Oracle databases to support application functionality; working collaboratively with teams to deliver projects and manage tasks using JIRA and JIRA Align; data modeling and implementing database scripts with Oracle database & Liquibase; developing, executing and performance tuning with SQL queries; designing, deploying, and managing cloud- based solutions using Cloud Foundry; migrating on-premises applications to the cloud and designing hybrid cloud environments; optimizing cloud architectures for cost efficiency, scalability, and high performance.
