DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Senior Developer, Technical Lead, Associate Consultant, Application Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Senior Developer, Technical Lead, Associate Consultant, Application Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Designing and developing enterprise level applications using Java, J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate; Building REST services using microservices architecture patterns; Building SOAP services. This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following: application monitoring using Dynatrace and Splunk to ensure application performance and reliability. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Using Apache Tomcat, Maven, and Jenkins for application deployment and continuous integration; Containerization using Kubernetes; using AWS Cloud Services for scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: User Interface development using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, ReactJS, JSON and Jquery. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: source code management using GIT; Using Blazemeter for performance testing and using Junit for unit testing to ensure software quality; Using SQL, Cassandra, and XML for data management and application development; Using Apache Kafka and Apache Zookeeper to build applications using Event Based Application Architecture approach.

Full-Time. Salary: $195,000 - $260,000 per year.
