DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design and develop large-scale solutions and platforms using Cloud services such as AWS in alignment with firm-wide strategies and security controls. Deploy and enable Cloud based solutions at firm level supporting complex analytics and day to day business operations. Migrate legacy and big data applications to Cloud native applications with zero downtime. Develop solutions or tools to monitor and provision components for automation of processes, services and reporting. Build pipelines in Spark and tune Spark queries. Design, build, and maintain machine learning (ML) models and work closely with modelers and business stakeholders. Apply knowledge of machine learning model frameworks, algorithms and tools for building ML solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Agile SDLC methodology; Python programming language and data analysis libraries and frameworks; Docker containerization technology; Machine Learning concepts and algorithms using Python; Machine Learning frameworks using SageMaker, TensorFlow, or PyTorch; SQL for database management and data manipulation; AWS Cloud Services, including EMR, EC2, and S3 to build, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications and infrastructure; SageMaker for machine learning model development and deployment; Big Data technologies using Hadoop and Hive; Apache Spark for Performance Tuning and Optimization; Splunk for data analysis and visualization; Tableau for monitoring the status of machine learning model runs; Git version control system for Continuous Integration and Continuous Development; JUnit for unit testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, System Integration Testing, and Unit Testing methodologies.
