Software Engineer
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop secure and high-quality production code, and review and debugs code written by others. Drive decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes. Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus. Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies. Provide guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities. Set the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration. Anticipate dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements. Manage stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements. Create and promote a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Manager, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires seven years (84 months) of experience with the following: providing 24x7 production support, diagnoses, and resolutions for technical issues across a broad technology stack comprised of WebMethods, RedHat Linux, Oracle Database. This position requires five years (60 months) of experience with the following: designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting a middleware system implemented within the SoftwareAG WebMethods framework and using the following components: Integration Server, MWS, Trading Networks, Terracotta and Command Central; performing independent management of software & infrastructure projects using an Agile methodology including planning, refining and estimating work for a global sprint team, budgeting, and reporting. This position requires four years (48 months) of experience with the following: leading a team of software developers providing career guidance, support and mentoring and recruiting new talent. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: Maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to manage the development and deployment of code as well as configuration from a Bitbucket based version control system.
