Site Reliability Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design and architect solutions to meet business requirements. Collaborate with Product Owners, Lead Solutions Analyst and Software Development team on sprint cycles to deliver bug free code that meets firm defined quality standards and customer expectations. Use site reliability engineering and software engineering concepts to drive firm-wide initiatives. Enhance the resiliency and reliability of the application technology stack, including upstream and downstream dependencies. Define and work with enterprise observability stacks to monitor application performance management and synthetic transactions. Configure management database systems and approaches to derive and integrate the associated information. Proactively mitigate risks and vulnerabilities and make the application audit compliant. Mentor and develop junior developers on the team to drive performance in line with the team's objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Site Reliability Engineer, Software Engineer/Developer, Tools Engineer (IT), or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Using Runtime platforms including Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, and AWS compute resources; Developing Spring Cloud services including Java API Development in hybrid cloud platforms and scaling them to multiple domains; Integrating with telemetry data sources including Prometheus, Dynatrace, and Splunk to build visualization across Configuration Management Database, Events, Metrics and Traces; Utilizing JPA and External data endpoint data layers and databases to integrate both relational and NoSQL databases; Developing BDD functional test cases and integrating delivery pipelines; CI/CD pipeline and troubleshooting complex issues; Deployment strategies including Canary and Blue green deployment; Developing Custom Jenkins Pipeline libraries per requirements; Participating in incident root cause analysis, fixes, change review, and approvals; Utilizing low code platforms including Pegasystems and integrating the workflows with main stream applications; Full stack development using Java and REACT along with JUNIT and JESTunit testing frameworks; Analyzing and automating routine tasks performed by support teams; Developing applications with distributed caching, state management, complex schedulers and numerous data sources; Working with multiple authentication systems and securing the applications with appropriate entitlement based systems; Containers, registry services, and artifact management using Kubernetes and Artifactory; Messaging technologies and defining the service health metrics for the overall cloud messaging platform; Developing Large Language Model applications and building Machine Learning and Operations pipelines for business problems; Using natural language processing models and experience with Named Entity Recognition, Semantic search, and text summarization.

Job Location: 575 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.
Full-Time. Salary: $186,000 - $260,000 per year.
