As a Senior Product Delivery Associate within the Infrastructure Platforms team, you will play a key role in promoting the modernization and delivery of messaging, streaming, and integration products, including IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, Message Bus, Kafka, Kafka SaaS, and cloud-native messaging & streaming solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery, operational excellence, and continuous improvement, supporting the evolution of our messaging, integration, and streaming capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive and track the end-to-end engineering delivery journey, including intake, dependency management, release planning, and product operationalization for messaging, integration, and streaming products.
  • Maintain visibility over product timelines and dependencies, raising blockers and risks as needed.
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews in collaboration with Product Managers, Engineer Leads, and functional partners.
  • Lead quarterly planning sessions to ensure alignment of product delivery milestones.
  • Manage the book of work in Jira and resource capacity tools for effective resource allocation and prioritization.
  • Oversee delivery execution across cross-functional teams, ensuring key initiatives are prioritized.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and best practices to enhance product delivery efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and operational excellence within the team.
  • Share best practices and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
  • Support operational management and change readiness activities throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Formal training or certification on Product Delivery concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • Hands on experience in product management, technology delivery, or a related domain (messaging, streaming, or integration).
  • Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities.
  • Experience with product deployment processes in a technology environment.
  • Proven ability to support product delivery in a technology-focused setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with messaging and streaming technologies such as IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to identify and address delivery risks and blockers.
  • Proficiency in using Jira and resource capacity tools for planning and tracking.

  • Support modernization initiatives or cloud-native messaging solutions.
