Senior Product Associate - Financials/ Analytics

Leverage your financial and analytical skills in supporting the launch of a new Consumer Deposit product with an exciting co-branded partner.

As a Senior Product Associate in Consumer Bank, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our new product through data-driven insights and financial analysis. Leveraging your expertise in metrics and analytics, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate product performance. Your analytical skills will enable you to conduct financial modeling, support budgeting and forecasting efforts, and identify opportunities for product enhancements based on market trends and customer feedback. By transforming complex data into actionable insights, you will contribute to strategic decision-making and help shape the future of our product offerings, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and customer needs.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Agile Product Owner/Team to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct data analysis to evaluate product performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement based on financial metrics and customer insights.
  • Utilize financial modeling techniques to support budgeting, forecasting, and revenue analysis for the product line.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Excel to visualize product performance and financial metrics.
  • Support the collection and analysis of user research and market data to inform product strategy and feature enhancements.
  • Prepare reports and presentations that summarize analytical findings and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze competitive performance metrics to identify market trends and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data-driven insights are integrated into product development processes.
  • Assist in risk assessment by analyzing financial and operational data to identify potential risks and opportunities related to product performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data analytics to enhance product offerings and customer experiences.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3+ years of Retail Banking / Financial Services experience
  • 3+ years of Product / Program management experience.
  • Experience in data analytics and financial modeling, with proficiency in tools such as Tableau, Qualtrics to analyze financial and operational performance metrics and support decision-making.
  • Solid understanding of the product development life cycle, including familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to assist in managing budgets and financial performance metrics with guidance from senior team members.
  • Capable of balancing customer experience considerations with an proactive approach to business priorities.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, collaborate across different teams and present ideas clearly.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize and communicate effectively.
  • Self-motivated individual demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and reliability while working with moderate supervision.
  • Basic understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance related to consumer regulations.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Knowledge of Chase organization, processes, systems
  • Advanced degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving product innovation and customer satisfaction.
