As a Senior Product Associate in Customer Identity and Authentication team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success. Secure Commerce manages the Identity, Authentication, and Authorization platform for the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) 3rd Party Apps and public Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) ecosystem. We do so while preserving a visible and Chase-owned Customer Experience for the infrequent but sensitive operations that directly support our brand promises such as trust, security, and safety.

As a Secure Commerce Product Delivery Lead, you will connect strategy to execution and blend operational management of product releases with value-added capabilities improving product feature deployments and releases are delivered end-to-end meeting Customer Identity & Authentication (CI&A) product strategy and plans for the future. This includes feature support, modernization, lifecycle management, cyber controls, data center, and AWS migration efforts. You will be responsible for recommending key dependencies are managed effectively, issues are communicated, and resources are deployed against the highest priorities. You will work closely with product and technology partners among others to provide advisory on delivery readiness.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery.
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers.
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality activities across the product development life cycle.
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.
  • Contribute to the development of a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers. Own the maintenance and development of a product backlog that enables development to support the overall product roadmap and value proposition.
  • Support software engineers to implement features by clarifying requirements, facilitating technical discussions, and enabling technical team members to better understand users and the business.
  • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed product specifications to communicate feature requirements to engineering and stakeholder teams.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance (QA) teams on testing and perform user acceptance testing and post-production implementation validation. Facilitate problem-solving and prioritization across teams, factoring in tradeoffs between speed, scalability, quality, and wider business activities.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze product performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization. Demonstrate and support the dissemination of new ideas for product management, product development, release management, and user support.
  • Develop and execute strategies for proactive user support and issue resolution. Collaborate with engineers to create UX flows, wireframes, and product designs.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
  • 2+ years of product management in a technical environment.
  • Experience managing and delivering technology projects from inception to production.
  • Fluent in agile methodologies, lean practices, and the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Expert in Jira, Figma, and/or similar industry tools.
  • Experience defining, developing product roadmaps.
  • Demonstrate record of delivering impactful product demonstrations.
  • Passion for driving project vision, and guiding teams towards key milestones.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in real estate or property technology is a bonus but not a strict requirement.
