Job Summary: As a Senior Product Associate in the Chief Data Office, you will be a key link between Open Invest, ESG, WM Security Master Technology, and business stakeholders. You will focus on business requirement documentation and implementation in relevant systems, ensuring adoption by downstream applications. Your role involves building instrument reference data for Wealth Management applications, spanning front-office verticals, risk management, compliance, and operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with tech and business to obtain requirements for build.
- Provide clear requirements for data models with standard attribute names.
- Initiate and lead working groups to develop success criteria for product delivery.
- Perform in-depth analysis and build data transformation documents.
- Develop operating models to support controls in data flow.
- Recommend and implement tools for transparency through reporting.
- Define and manage requirements for instrument data adoption.
- Document and track project reporting metrics and scorecards.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and drive projects to completion.
- Analyze requirements and translate them into data modeling.
- Ensure compliance with data-related industry regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services with data project management.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of data domains, including securities and instrument reference data.
- Translate requirements into data modeling, adhering to architectural standards.
- Manage relationships across business functions and technology.
- Understand data management practices and data quality frameworks.
- Communicate effectively with strong analytical skills.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MBA Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Hold an MBA or PGDM in Finance, Bachelor in Engineering.
- Understand the financial services industry and related operations.
- Utilize productivity tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
- Create presentations for senior management.
- Develop and maintain firmwide strategic tools and applications.
- Manage senior stakeholder expectations and project timelines.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and intellectual skills.
