As the Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the ERFC Technology team, you will be at the forefront of promoting engineering excellence and innovation in regulatory reporting across APAC. You will oversee the development and deployment of applications catering to the regulatory reporting needs of Finance users across APAC locations, leveraging a cutting-edge tech stack including Databricks, PySpark, and vendor-based products like Axiom/OFSAA.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the application suite for regulatory reporting, managing key vendor applications.
- Collaborate globally to align with architecture standards and meet local requirements.
- Lead a motivated team, fostering high standards in design, analytics, development, and testing.
- Promote a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and learning.
- Work in a collaborative environment valuing diversity and creative solutions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Hands on experience s in technology leadership roles, focusing on application, data, and infrastructure architecture.
- Experience in implementing and integrating vendor software solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
- Experience leading multiple feature teams of 7-8 software engineers.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
- AWS, Google, or Azure certification preferred.
