As a Senior Lead Security Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Cybersecurity and Tech Controls, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to deliver software solutions that satisfy pre-defined functional and user requirements with the added dimension of preventing misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior. - Facilitates security requirements clarification for multiple networks to enable multi-level security to satisfy organizational needs
- Works with stakeholders and senior business leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability
- Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
- Triaging based on risk assessments of various threats and managing resources to cover impact of disruptive events
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Security Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Skilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutions
- Proficient in AI/ML techniques and skilled in advanced analytics.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML, such as Python, R, Java, and C++.
- Strong Database skills with Oracle & DynamoDB and experience in tuning database queries, processing large amount of data.
- Able to design and implement solutions that work against high-volume data sources.
- Practical experience of architecting & developing applications on any one of the major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
- Extensive experience with threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability, and penetration testing
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Practical cloud native experience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Java, Kubernetes and AWS certification is a plus.
- Good experience on writing unit tests in Java and React JS for a highly complex enterprise environment.
- Proven experience with modern frontend framework and libraries such as React is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab for automating software delivery
